I just saw the move "Control" about Ian Curtis and Joy Division (super late, I know) and so now I am all about Joy Division/New Order/Bowie/Iggy Pop and one of the records he played in the movie was Iggy's "The Idiot." This album is technically Iggy's solo debut away from the Stooges as well as a collaboration between Bowie and Pop. It was released in 1977 and worked with the German electronic influences Bowie was using during his "Heroes" period. Theres a good blend of genres in this album and I have "Nightclubbin" on my muxtape, check it.
